This is how you SHOULD shave

Against the hair? Machine or razor? A man shave his face somewhere between 15- 20.000 times during his lifetime.

This is how you do it right:

  • We know it is tempting to shave against the hair, not with it. Do not shave against the hair! Male skin have larger pores and oilier skin. Shaving against the hair will, combined with this facts, increase the risks of infections in your face. Its that simple. Against the hair = many micro infections
  • Clean your razor. Disinfect it from time to time and change blades often.
  • Use a shaving balm or foam
  • Prepare your skin and open your pores by washing your beard in warm water before shaving
  • Try to find a anti-bacterial shaving foam. They cost the same, but are much better for your exposed skin.

The most important thing is not how expensive your razor or foam is. It is that you clean your instruments, and prepare your skin.

Good luck shaving!
